Max L. Moffitt Max Moffitt retired from the City of High Point Fire Department following over 32 years of service, where he worked his way up through the ranks to Assistant Chief of Administration. He served in all levels of the department's organizational structure including Communications, Fire Suppression and Rescue, Fire Training, and Administration. He is committed to the spirit of volunteerism and community involvement. He served several years as a volunteer firefighter, and continues to be active in firefighting and rescue. He has also worked as a volunteer in many disasters across our State. Max is active in his church, where he serves as an Elder, Board Member, and Bible Class Teacher.
