But there has continued to be a steadfast commitment to Christ and community. We are a friendly group who take our faith and service seriously but joyfully. Families are the core of our strength and ministry.
Our 9:30 A.M. study hour has class activities for newborns to various adult categories. We also sponsor the Tri-City Junior Academy which offers the finest in academic and spiritual training for children from K-4 through 10th grade.
Among our other offerings are Bible seminars especially Daniel and Revelation; health & cooking classes; Community services (emergency food, clothes, etc.); Red Cross disaster shelter; counseling; adult education; & more.... These, we hope, have made High Point and adjoining communities happier, healthier, holier places for us all to live.
"They devoted themselves to the instruction given by the apostles and to fellowship, breaking bread and praying together. Awe fell on everyone, and many wonders and signs were performed by the apostles in Jerusalem. The believers all kept together; they shared all they had with one another, they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds among all, as any one might be in need. Day after day they resorted with one accord to the temple and broke bread together in their own homes; they ate with a glad and simple heart, praising God and looked on with favour by all the people."
