Our Domain Name Ownership Policy

Ownership of your Domain Name will belong to YOU, our customer, and will be YOUR property. We will simply maintain your Domain Name on your behalf, and handle the annual renewals for you.

In the event that either party elects to terminate our contract, your Domain Name will continue to be YOUR property, and we will then provide you with the necessary information for you to take over the maintenance and the annual renewals of YOUR Domain Name.

All of the webpage designs, html code, clipart images, animations, photographs, etc. contained within websites that we design are copyrighted © by Safety Publishers/Safety911, and are protected by the United States Copyright Law. Safety Publishers/Safety911, therefore, retains actual ownership of the website's content.

Some content we might use from third-party sources may also be copyrighted by its original creator(s).

The content that is contained within a website designed by Safety Publishers/Safety911 may not be used, copied, sold, rented or redistributed by any method, or on any type of media, by any individual or company other than Safety Publishers/Safety911, except as follows:

Safety Publishers/Safety911 will grant a license to our customers to use the content contained in the websites we design for them.

The license for our customers to use the content contained in the websites we design for them shall extend beyond the website development and maintenance contract, giving our customers permission to continue using such content in the event that the contract between Safety Publishers/Safety911 is terminated at any point in the future. The license will allow our customers to continue using such content on a website maintained by another individual or company.

So, while Safety Publishers/Safety911 retains actual ownership of a website's content, as provided for by the United States Copyright Law, our customers can rest assured that if either party elects to terminate our contract, the customer can continue using the content of the website we designed for them.
