Horneytown Fire Department proudly protects over 5,200 people living in an area of 20 square miles. Our Station is located in the southeastern corner of Forsyth County, between High Point and Winston Salem. We also cover areas of Davidson County and Guilford County. In addition, we provide mutual-aid assistance to the City of High Point on a regular basis.
We operate out of one(1) Station which protects a primarily residential area. We are a Rural Fire Department with about 35 members, who are on a combination of volunteer and paid status. We operate two(2) Pumper Tankers, one(1) Rescue Pumper, and one(1) Squad that responds to all emergency medical calls. We have an ISO rating of 6/9. |
